How most do you outlay upon groceries each week? I have the family of 3 as well as you outlay 150-180 the week, as well as it seems similar to alot. I do prepare repast each night, as well as my father packs the lunch for work. And me as well as my son have been home all day, so I regularly do something for breakfast as well as lunch for us. I shave coupons, though what else can I do to save income upon groceries?

Family of 4, at least $150.00 a week, not to mention the exras during the week which varies
I live alone, 70 dollars a week.
go to a Farmer’s Market if you live in an area where they have them year round, the prices are pretty good and they’re organic and local.
Do you find that you buy things that are not being eaten and then thrown away when it goes bad? Try to make a list on Sunday of all the things you are going to make for the rest of the week and only buy those items.
I live alone and I spend 20 – 30 Euro a week (last year it was 10 – 20, but everything gets more and more expensive. That drives me crazy)
We spend 100-120 per week on a family of 3….I cook every nite and my husband also packs lunches for work. How we try to save money is by shopping at Wal Mart…they have exactly the same boxed good and such for lots cheaper. For meats, I go to costco and get the frozen one pound hamburger meats in rolls, and the individual frozen chicken breasts. That saves a lot on meat and you don’t waste as much because you can thaw out exactly how much you want.
If I go to the commissary I spend about $100-$125 a week on groceries. That includes diapers and dog food also, though. At Wal-Mart I could easily spend about $200 a week on groceries. My family is like your, family of 3 (until next month, we will be family of 4), my husband comes home for lunch everyday and my son and I are home all day. So I cook 3 meals a day also.
We spend about $70-100 a week or so. it’s just me and my husband and I use alot of coupons. Just look for those sales. If you do it right you can save alot.
I spend about 280 a month, there’s 2 of us, but this also includes paper towels, soaps, catfood and litter for 5 cats, dog food, and all “grocery store” stuff. I never use coupons, but I do look for things on sale, and buy a lot of things in bulk.
I cook most things ‘from scratch’ and hardly ever use things in boxes, or cans, or frozen meals. I think those convenience foods are too expensive, full of additives, and not as healthy as cooking from fresh real foods. Most coupons are for the things I refuse to buy in the first place.
buy things in bulk from places like costco or freezer shops – make meals in bulk and freeze protions
also make lots of soups, stews, pasta dishes etc – cheap to make and filling
i have a big family and have to budget £100 for the weekly shop -
family of 4 about $100.00 to 150.00 a week and then a big grocery of about 300.00 to 400.00 once month .it’s seem that is all we do every week end go to the grocery store
gosh, I know, a lot of money is spent in groceries, try to eat more vegetables, they are cheaper than meat, less soda and more water etc.
I have just started working commission and we have to spend a certain amount each month. Groceries are $300 a month. The way that we work that out is but taking out $300 dollars cash, and using that to go shopping around once a week. Make food in bulk such as chili, sloppy joes, and eat pasta. It is kind of funny because I aways get to work and everyone is eyeballing my food cause my wife stays home with my son and has time to cook. We spend like half as much on groceries and still eat great. Before this job we spent around $500 a month. If you take out items like beer, soda, chips, frozen meals, and things like that you can save a lot of money.
There are 3 of us and we spend 75-125 a week. We do not buy sodas, cookies or chips. Pack 2 kids lunches every day. We bake our own cookies and cakes. The farm market type stores have the best buys on fruit and vegetables. We don’t even buy frozen pizza anymore we make it from from scratch.
