RUSSIAN TOURIST VISA QUESTION: TRAVEL CONFIRMATION & VOUCHER?

We have been formulation to take the outing to Moscow as well as St. Petersburg as well as have been deliberation shopping the craft sheet on-line, creation the advance booking for hotels in Moscow as well as St. Petersburg (most expected Marriott) around the road house website, as well as requesting for Russian traveller visas in chairman during the Russian consulate. As we can see, we have been not formulation to use any transport group in the process.

Here have been the questions:

1) Is it excusable not to use the transport agency?
2) If it is excusable not to use the transport agency, will hotels (Marriott in St. Petersburg as well as Moscow) expected to emanate both VOUCHERS as well as TRAVEL CONFIRMATION which have been indispensable for the Russian traveller visa?
3) Is it excusable to give the faxed duplicate of vouchers as well as transport acknowledgment to the Russian consulate?

Any report will be appreciated. Thank you.

It would be much simpler to just buy your invite online and avoid travel agencies etc. This company have a very good reputation and excellent support – http://www.waytorussia.net/Travel/VisaSupport.html

Copies are usually sufficient to get the visa.

1) It is totally acceptable to avoid using the travel agency.
2) If you are talking about Invitation, you are better off just using http://www.waytorussia.net to order one, print it out and submit it with your application at the consulate. Reservation receipt from the hotel can be used as a proof of travel confirmations.
If you still fell funny about it, I would suggest than to contact the hotel once you made the reservation and ask them to fax or e-mail you one, which I seriously doubt that they would.
3) Russian consulate does not accept any documents pertaining the applicant from outside parties. Everything has to be submitted by the applicant.
