Unfortunately many of the people currently worrying about the economy, sky rocketing gas prices as well as the price of living, I consider really elementary things can have the large stroke upon the bill for example regulating banking any day we go for shopping. Anytime we can find the banking for the product which we use, shave it as well as take it along upon your subsequent selling trip. Some stores even suggest stand in or three times banking days once the month. Find out if your internal store offers this use as well as check the newspapers we can save the lot in the month.

Some more ideas:
Create a budget.
Look for higher interest savings accounts.
Walk/cycle more instead of driving or using public transport.
Change suppliers for utilities, insurance, internet and so on.
Compare high street prices to internet prices.
Cut out unnecessary purchases like sandwiches or bottled water and any unnecessary subscriptions.
Try switching to a cheaper supermarket or downgrading to the value range.
Write a shopping list.
Swap high interest credit cards/loans for ones with better terms.
Instead of buying a newspaper, read the news online.
Replace expensive leisure activities with cheaper ones such as instead of going to the cinema, rent a dvd or watch a movie on tv. Visit free art galleries, museums and libraries and look for discounted tickets to shows.
Book in advance and be flexible when travelling for cheaper train, coach and plane tickets.
Good luck.
In addition to the above I would also recommend putting any long term savings in a physical asset that will retain its value like gold or silver or other commodities, things you could potentially use for trade. Inflation will render cash or bank savings worthless.
